This 2 part Webinar Series will be held with Boundless Coach Jonathon Clinthorne PhD. Coach Jon not only has a doctorate in Human Nutrition from Michigan State University, but has also ran over 50 ultramarathons, including twelve 100 mile races. He specializes in evidenced based nutrition counseling that is combined with his deep practical knowledge of sport. His philosophy is that there is no “one size fits-all” approach to endurance nutrition and instead prefers to work with his athletes to determine which evidence-based approach will fit them best.

Session 1:

➝ Pre-event Nutrition and In-event Fueling

➝ Understanding Carbohydrates, Glycogen, and Effort Levels

➝ Tracking Hydration, Sweat Rate, Electrolyte Loss

Session 2

➝ How to Handle: GI Distress, Headaches, Brain Fog, Urination Frequency, Swollen Fingers, Moodiness etc.

➝ Recovery Nutrition: Refuel, Rebuild, Rehydrate


In Session 1, we'll focus on optimizing your performance through expert nutrition strategies. We'll dive deep into the crucial elements of pre-event nutrition and in-event fueling to ensure you're prepped for success on race day. Learn the essentials of fueling your body for peak performance and gain practical tips for maintaining optimal hydration levels to enhance and understand your overall nutrition as an endurance athlete.

In Session 2, we'll focus on overcoming nutrition obstacles in your training or on race day. Learn how to identify the root causes of these issues and implement effective solutions to keep you on track towards your goals. Gain valuable insights into recovery nutrition, including how to refuel, rebuild, and rehydrate your body - equipping you for success on the course.

Each session is around 45 minutes of presented content with 15 minutes for Q/A and open discussion. All slides and references, along with a video recording of each session will be provided. This series is designed to build concepts and ideas over the 2 meetings, and weaves best practices and current science backed research in a way that helps you optimize your training.
